Bringing in the new year of 2020 was a welcome hope for the future, not least because the entire Christmas period was a comatose blur under the influence of the dreaded flu bug!
All new years begin with hopes and dreams, and after the last year of sad loss and so many hospital visits that I’ve lost count, the hope of the sun shining on our lives is even greater.
My husband is recovering, and I am still a statistic on the waiting list for a routine operation which I hope, by the end of this month, will make my life so much easier and less painful. Yes, with hope, life is going to be so much better in 2020.
Plans are being made, ideas are sketched and jotted down, canvases are being prepared, all in readiness to roll up my sleeves and enjoy the process of being creative once again. So much I want to do! Will I achieve it all? I don’t know, but I will definitely enjoy the trying! Life is supposed to be enjoyed.
Wishing everyone a wonderful 2020 in the hope that all your own dreams are realised!
