Micro Life in Water

The first time I prepared a slide with a drop of water from the birdbath to view under the microscope, I had no idea just how much variety of life I would see.  I had basic knowledge from a love of the natural world and an enquiring mind with a desire to learn.  The beauty of the shapes, the movement, the colours and the field of depth from a very thin coating of water left me spellbound, and still does.  This is just from one tiny drop of water in one tiny place.  I am at the very beginning of an exciting journey to create art that makes the invisible, visible.
