Dissecting and studying flowers under the microscopeDissecting and studying flowers under the microscope
Following months of studying pond water, flora and fauna under the microscope, The Invisible World Art Exhibition is finally coming to fruition.

A collection of my paintings will be on show at The Workers Gallery, Ynyshir in the South Wales Valleys with ceramic sculptures by Susan Zeppellini. My paintings represent the cellular structures of living plants and the invisible world I discovered in my garden birdbath, and local streams and ponds.

029 art exhibition invisible world 2018

I have enjoyed every minute of both discovery and creation, and I hold my breath that members of the public will enjoy viewing the culmination of my work for this art exhibition. I don’t intend to stop there though. We rarely get to see the world around us from the vantage point of a microscope. We live in a world that is vibrant and beautiful, much of which is beyond our sight, and my passion is to share that invisible beauty through my paintings.

The exhibition will run from 9th August to 1st September 2018, and the Workers Gallery is open Thursday to Saturday 11am to 4.30pm or by appointment.
