Cynon valley museum exhibition 2016My three algae paintings at Cynon Valley Museum Art Exhibition 2016
Cynon Valley Museum was a casualty in the cuts to spending, but community people power put it back on the map. I'm so pleased because not only does it have a great little museum of local interest, it has a lovely gallery space.

This exhibition is a group show of local artists and runs through 26th October up until Christmas, so the styles and themes are diverse. I have three pieces in the exhibition all from my series "Under the Microscope" that can be seen on the left wall.

Aside from the main gallery, local artists, makers and crafts people have work displayed in the gift shop. There you will find amongst the beautiful jewellery, hand turned wooden objects and craft items, a selection of my reproduction prints and cards. If you are local, it is well worth a visit and you will be guaranteed a warm welcome from the many volunteers who keep it running.
