"Water World" A painting of select algae forms inspired from microscope studies. The samples to study were taken from our birdbath. The red algae cells actually begin as green, but turn red when the water doesn't suit their habitat, hence the bright rust coloured rims you find in the birdbath. These algae are called Haematococcus. Individually they cannot be seen by the naked eye.

The prints come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and are all uniquely numbered and recorded. They have a white border to allow for signing and framing. Paper sizes and the size of the print itself are approximately :-
